Mike Logsdon, Founder and President

Mike graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree 1983. While attending Texas Tech, he was invited join the landscape architecture honor society Sigma Lambda Alpha. Since graduation, Mike has been involved in the landscape design/build industry, creating and implementing award winning swimming pool and landscape projects. Mike is an associate member of American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), and recently completed and earned the rare designation, only 32 individuals worldwide have achieved, of SWD - Society of Watershape Designers from the respected - Genesis 3 Design Group, as well as the CBP - Certified Building Professional designation from the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals (APSP)

In 1985, Mike moved to San Antonio, where he has been responsible for the designing, budgeting, estimating, contract negotiating, and implementation for both residential and commercial landscape projects. During this time, he has gained an invaluable reputation as an expert in specialized concrete applications and structural landscape construction (hardscape). As a result of his expertise, Mike's travels have taken him to Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Mexico and Spain for consulting, installation supervision, and personnel training in the applications of specialized concrete hardscape.

In 1994, Mike began working with a San Antonio pool company, as an independent swimming pool designer and consultant, designing, selling and implementing over a million dollars of pool, spa and fountains each year for six years. Mike's education and background in landscape architecture has helped him become one of San Antonioʼs top swimming pool designers, creating hundreds of unique and creative pool environments. In January 2000, Mike, with the help of a few talented people, decided to take on the daunting task of implementing his own “water art” designs through the introduction of Land Designʼs swimming pool division, specializing in designing, budgeting, estimating, contract negotiating, and implementing both residential and small negotiated commercial swimming pool projects. Mike has added a few accolades, awards, honors and certifications since 1983. Most recently in 2008 the coveted, SWD-Society of Watershape Designers – Genesis 3 and CBP-Certified Building Professional – (APSP) Associations of Pool and Spa Professionals and Masters of Design – Pool and Spa News 2007
